The Metropolitan Interdenominational Church Technical Assistance Network (MICTAN), is the national clergy-led capacity building program of the First Response Center.MICTAN provides culturally competent capacity building assistance to faithh organizations, health departments, CBO's and social/civic organizations to increase access to and utilization of HIV/AIDS prevention services.
MICTAN’s capacity building services include:

- Trainings to build capacity
- Technical services
- Skills building
- Technical consultation
What is Technical Assistance?
Providing information, consultation and ongoing training to improve the delivery
and effectiveness of HIV/AIDS prevention services.

- Literature / data
- Workshops
- Participation in national events via sermons, prayers, services, and training
We provide capacity building services to:
- CDC funded organizations
- Health Departments and service providers
- Churches, denominations, and other faith based organizations
- Community based organizations
