Primary Care Services
The First Response Clinic provides primary care services to economically disadvantaged persons living with HIV/AIDS. Services are particularly designed for individuals who abuse substances and/or have mental health issues that complicate adherence to medication regimens.
The Primary Care Clinic utilizes:
- Clinical outreach as a part of its medical care model which includes:
- Directly observed therapy in the home
- Clinical/psycho-social observation in the home
- Medical care management
- Adherence counseling
- Specialty appointment support
- Lost-to-care outreach
- Linkage to all First Response Center supportive services
